Last night British rockers Primal Scream put on a stunning show at Billboard the Venue. It was pretty challenging to photograph as there was a lot of backlighting and very little front lighting – while it was challenging for photographers it looked great as a spectator and the music/performance was awesome.

Legendary Canadian singer/songwriter Leonard Cohen played a sell out show at Rod Laver Arena on Thursday – sensational stuff.

Serious photographers seem to be on a never ending quest for the perfect camera bag. I’ve come to the conclusion that there is no such thing as different bags, back packs or systems work better than others depending on the situation.

The Big Day Out festival rolled into Melbourne on Australia Day – I was lucky enough to be photographing the festival… a great day culminating with Neil Young putting on a stellar show. It was a privilege to have the opportunity to photograph such a wonderful musician.
