Melbourne Band Eddy Current Suppression Ring took out the 2008 Australian Music Prize for their second album Primary Colours. They picked up a well deserved $30,000 prize and beat out other finalists The Presets, Beaches, The Drones, Cut Copy, CW Stoneking, Jack Ladder, Tom Cooney and Ross McLennan.
