On Friday night I was lucky enough to catch one of the most exciting bands in Australia, Eddy Current Suppression Ring really turn it on at The Prince of Wales in St Kilda. What a fantastic night it was.

For 2010 we are particularly proud to have enticed one of rock’s all time legendary artists, FAITH NO MORE; and one of today’s most talented and intriguing bands, MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE to top the bill. Joining them will be indie legends and festival kings JANES ADDICTION, the kings of dark punk AFI and one of the hottest bands in the world, PARAMORE.

Saturday night saw The New Christs return to the Melbourne home of rock n roll, The Tote and put on a blistering show, with able support from local lads Bowerbirds. ’twas a fine night of rock n roll goodness.

Gallows
The bad news is that Gallows have been forced to postpone their Australian tour due to touring commitments overseas.
The band were offered an unmissable opportunity to build on their already rabid following in the US with a national tour supporting AFI.
The good news is that they are heading downunder for the 2010 Soundwave festival.
Ticket holders in Sydney and Melbourne (18+ only) please hang on to your tickets as they will be valid for the Gallows Sidewave shows (with the added value of some extra special guests as well).
Ticket holders in Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth can take their tickets back to the point of purchase for a full refund.
